About Me

Hi, my name is Karen! I am a wife and a mom to 5 children and 2 daughters-in-law.  I am a follower of Jesus who enjoys tea, coffee, music, reading, making cards, crocheting, painting, biking, walking, hiking and everyday movement.

In 2012, after losing 30 pounds and then proceeding to start to gain it back, I went on a search for recipes that separated carbs and fats.  Quite by accident I stumbled upon Trim Healthy Mama!  My THM journey has had many ups and downs (including weight).  However, no matter what, I’ve always ended back with the food freedom I find through THM.  

I want to walk with you on your health journey, as you find your way through menopause, stubborn pounds and food obsessions. I will come alongside you as you learn the plan and help you work through any struggles and ultimately celebrate the victories.

​I continually strive to learn all I can about the body so I can better serve you!  Learning about movement, specifically, is my passion.
